Having a comprehensive understanding of where strength and mobility meet, Jean is a master of his craft offering a wide range of classes targetting functional training. He started Shāb with the desire to create a community where his clients and new members can have the opportunity to unleash their own vitality through personalised movement.

Alexa is a dedicated Balanced Body Pilates certified teacher and personal trainer with over six years of experience in the fitness industry and a strong foundation in athletic-based training to her coaching, emphasizing functional movement and peak performance. Alexa's classes blend dynamic bootcamp-style workouts with a focus on form, ensuring each exercise is executed safely and effectively. Her passion for making movement enjoyable shines through in her teaching style, creating an engaging and challenging experience for clients.

Greg
Grégoire, a passionate calisthenics athlete and coach. He’s been dedicated to bodyweight training since 2015, transitioning from competitive bodybuilding to competing in calisthenics. His mission is to inspire others and help them discover the incredible potential of the human body through calisthenics, empowering people to unlock strength, mobility, and control using just their own bodyweight.

Rawan
Enjoy Rawan’s strength and conditioning or bootcamp classes, complete with the best throwback music. Her love for pull-ups is unmatched though she’s been enjoying running, barre and functional training as a whole for the past 5 years. As an instructor, Rawan’s goal is to ensure you feel both challenged and encouraged. A firm believer in consistency, she will remind you that showing up is half the battle.

Rayane is an enthusiastic boxing coach and MMA fighter, dedicated to helping athletes unlock their potential. With a strong foundation in combat sports, he brings a fresh perspective and a passion for fitness to every training session. Rayane creates a supportive atmosphere, emphasizing technique, conditioning, and mental strength.

Issree is a dedicated personal trainer and pole instructor with a deep appreciation for the science of human movement. In her classes, she loves to challenge her students, helping them grow and achieve their goals. Her teaching style is both technical and adaptable, ensuring that each student’s unique needs are met. With a focus on safety and fun, Issree creates an environment where you can build strength, confidence, and skill. Outside of teaching, you’ll often find her lifting weights or training in calisthenics—her second love after pole fitness.

Deniel
Deniel Suarez is a passionate mat Pilates instructor who helps people discover their true strength through mindful, consistent movement. With a journey that began in the gym and expanded into spinning, barre, running, yoga, and reformer, evolved into a deep love for Pilates, practicing 3–4 times a week for over a year and a half. His classes are designed for all levels, blending power, balance, and super fun playlists with dynamic formats that challenge and energize. With a background in dance and choreography, Deniel brings rhythm, energy, and intention to every session, and purpose to every class—proving that strength isn’t about age or ability, but what you choose to do with your body.

With 17 years of coaching experience, Sara brings a powerful blend of gymnastics, Ashtanga yoga, and functional fitness to the Shāb Studio community. A former international athlete, her classes are dynamic, technical, and rooted in deep body awareness and control.
Sara’s approach centers on smart, mindful movement—whether you’re working on mobility, building strength, or refining your form. Her passion for sport and lifelong dedication to movement make each session both empowering and transformative.

Meihan
Meihan is a driven professional dancer and Stott Certified Reformer Pilates instructor. Movement, mindfulness, and physical training have long been at the heart of her life. Her classes are rooted in the core principles of Pilates: breath, alignment, and control, while drawing Inspiration from her dance foundations: blending strength, precision, and artistry. Designed for all levels, her sessions offer inclusive flows that build confidence, challenge you, deepen the mind-body connection, and simply feel good to move through. With a kind and attentive eye, Meihan provides supportive cues that elevate each client’s experience. Make space in your body, connect to your core, and flow like a dancer on the Reformer.

Kinesiology graduate and certified personal trainer with 6+ years in the fitness industry, specializing in functional, fun, and results-driven training. George competed in multiple Races and placed 2nd in the HYROX New York 2025 Under-25 category. His approach blends running, strength, mobility, and biohacking strategies, while building strong, lasting relationships with clients to help them move better, perform stronger, and live healthier.

Liz
With 19 years of playing ice hockey , Liz brings a lifelong passion for sports, wellness, and fitness to everything she does.
After over a decade of coaching, she discovered her love for Pilates during the pandemic when the rinks and gyms were closed, a shift that led her to become a certified instructor through Balanced Body.
Liz is committed to helping clients feel more confident in their movement and creating a supportive, welcoming space for all. Outside the studio, she’s a dog mom, loves to travel and a major foodie. -

Eli
Elizabeth took her first yoga class in 2015 — and hated it. But thanks to an unlimited intro month, she kept showing up. A few classes later, something clicked… and she never stopped. She began teaching group fitness in 2018 and later trained as a yoga teacher.
After several years working in the corporate world while maintaining a steady personal practice, she returned full-time to teaching yoga and functional movement. Her classes range from grounding yin to spicy power flows, always guided by a strong focus on body awareness, fluid transitions, and intentional movement.
She teaches a wide range of students — from prenatal and postpartum moms to athletes and beginners — creating inclusive, empowering spaces where people can move, explore, and reconnect.
For her, yoga is the art of coming back to yourself — physically, mentally, and everything in between.

Her background in functional training, injury recovery, and holistic wellness has allowed her to work with professional athletes, MMA fighters, and high-performing entrepreneurs—guiding them to build resilience both physically and mentally.
Her approach blends athletic precision with mindful movement, bridging strength, mobility, and inner balance. Whether she’s leading a high-energy functional workout or a mindful conditioning session, Serena’s mission is to help others build their strongest, most aligned selves—from the inside out.
